The name of this blog "just liike clay" is based on a bible passage in (-----) where God calls the prophet Elijah to visit a potters studio to watch him at work and gain a practical lesson in discipleship - God is the potter; we are the clay.
As this blog chronicles lessons that I am learning during a time the Church of England wisely calls "formation" (more on that later) I wanted to begin by acknowledging to myself and anyone else who may ever read this..... I am clay!! I came from dirt and will return to dirt, I am being moulded and shaped, it is a work in progress, and God knows sometimes it will be messy (!) but what a journey 😊
